Billing status (honest placeholder): payment processing is not live in this build. No card is requested or charged. When the owner configures a payment provider (hosted checkout only - card data never touches this app), subscriptions will be activated through that provider, and the provider will charge its own transaction fees in addition to any plan price, even when the provider itself has no fixed monthly fee.
Plan limits are enforced in the app today: Starter allows up to 100 active vendors and one portfolio; Portfolio allows up to 500 active vendors across multiple properties, the monthly digest, and additional team seats. Changing plans in Settings is a manual, owner-controlled action until billing is configured.
